The Earthwood Circle has twelve standing stones, with an internal diameter of 10 Megalithic Yards (MY), about 27 feet. The twelve sitting stones have a diameter of 6 MY (16.3 feet), and twelve small stones form the fire pit, with a diameter of two MY, or 5.4 feet. The eight small pink standing stones are called the “Afterthought Stones” and add visual interest for revelers when the fire is blazing.
